Big Boom

Baby George fell yesterday. The kids were all at the dining room table eating popcorn and his chair tipped and he hit his chin on the table as he fell. Poor baby. Good thing Papa was home cause the little guy needed to go get stitches. Ouch! This is the third set of stitches for our family...luckily all on different kids. I'd like to think there won't be anymore stitches to come but I think I'd be foolin' myself:) Cam said they had to strap him down....OH!...and he screamed...actually Cam's words were, "he was super pissed!". By the time they got home he was calm. He hasn't mentioned the "owie" at all. His only compliant was that he couldn't take a bath this morning and he cried cause the other kids were in the tub:( Poor guy.

But...check out this adorable pic of BG hugging his Papa. Oh! Be still my heart....look at his sweet little haircut. I love it.

Stitches!

Little Busy Guy fell in the driveway while playing hopscotch. OUCH!!!! Cam came bursting in the house hollering for me to call 911. Scared me to pieces...especially since nothing medical freaks Cam out. He's a Critical Care RN and unless you are on a ventilator and nearly dead then you're not too bad off. Our car was at the repair shop so we didn't have a way to drive to the hospital. The firetruck guys came and assessed him. They said it needed stitches but wasn't life threatening so an ambulance ride would be a last resort. Our neighbor loaned Cam his car...super nice...so they went off to have it looked at. After a 2 hour wait he got 4 stitches in his forehead. He was so tough and brave. Papa said Busy Guy didn't even cry when they put a needle in it and stitched it up! I cried plenty for the both of us. Poor baby! He'll start pre-school (he's going one day a week to a pre pre-school class and is over the moon to "paint") on Thurs. with a big owie.
