You know you're old when....
Okay, so we were at the drive-thru at Starbucks tonight and the young little barista says to hubby as she hands him back his debit card, "Do you have a daughter named Ashley?". "No", he replies. "Oh, because I go to school with a girl who has the same last name as you". It took a few seconds to register that the barista is COLLEGE age and she thinks hubby is old enough to be her friend's dad! Yikes! He was so depressed....and then even more so when he realized that he really is old enough to be the girl's dad. Well......it is his 20 yr. high school reunion this weekend! Poor hubby.....I couldn't stop laughing.

Hahaha! The opposite of this is being pulled over by a youngerish police woman because she assumed the car speeding past her contained an equally youngish (and prone to speed) high school! student. (Hypothetically, of course)...

Well, I found out what was being worked on for the quilting project. For my birthday I go a LOVELY quilt just the right size to wrap around me while I read or watch television. It is beautiful and, as several people told me, I'll be wrapped in love. Thank you to THE BEST EVER daughter-in-law in the world.
